A civilian stationed aboard the Orville in late September 2419[1] through October 2420.[2] As the name suggests, he serves as its bartender in the Mess Hall. He serves Chief of Security Alara Kitan a double Xelayan tequila, and also present at the award ceremony when Captain Ed Mercer presents Alara with the Sapphire Star.[1] In November 2419, he serves First Officer Kelly Grayson two glasses of what look to be whiskey.[3] In August 2420, he cleans glasses and takes orders at the bar while Helmsman Gordon Malloy talks to Lieutenant Dorsett.[2] In December, he serves drinks during the reception of Ty Finn's piano recital.[4] In early 2421, he serves shots of Eldorian vodka to Gordon.[5] In an alternate timeline where Pria Lavesque did not capture the Orville, the bartender was killed along with the rest of the crew in a dark matter storm.[6]

In early October 2419, he oversees the departure of Klyden, Bortus, and Topa by shuttle.[3] About a month later, he oversees an away team take a shuttle to the Bio-ship.[7] In an alternate timeline where Pria Lavesque did not capture the Orville, the crewman was killed along with the rest of the crew in a dark matter storm.[6]

Two Human Lieutenant engineers, one male and one female are present for "ice breakers" with John and, later, are found working in Engineering when John and Lieutenant Yaphit create a "quantum bubble" around the ship.
Both engineers install a field generator in the navigational array under John. Yaphit enters, asking if they need any help, and John says to check the power relays. The male engineer snidely says, "Yeah, try not to screw that up, too," and his female counterpart adds, "Yeah, no kidding." John grows angry, and the male engineer says that it was Yaphit's "half-cocked idea" that got them stuck in two-dimensional space. Engineer #1 is played by Dan J. Evans; Engineer #2 is played by Erica Mathlin. | ||||

After Captain Ed Mercer told the USS Roosevelt that the Kaylon had taken over his ship, Kaylon Primary, Kaylon Secondary, Isaac forced Ed to watch them kill this ensign by ejecting him from an airlock. Isaac tried to dissuade Primary and Secondary by pointing out that the ensign's knowledge of the ship's operations were invaluable as a trained systems engineer, but to little effect. The ensign froze to death in the vacuum of space and left behind by the Kaylon armada on their way to Earth.

In late September or early October 2419, Captain Ed Mercer and Commander Kelly Grayson mysteriously vanish and Lieutenant Alara Kitan becomes acting captain of the Orville. The stress of command nauseates the inexperienced Kitan, and she runs to a sink to vomit where Parker finds her. He confirms that she is well and reminds her of his name, then Kitan brusquely dismisses him.
Later, Parker is badly injured from a Calivon buoy that explodes in space between the Orville's spatial tensor coils and the Shuttle Bay. Doctor Claire Finn reports that Parker will survive. Parker is portrayed by Mike Gray. | ||||

Bortus wants to talk to Klyden, and shouts, "We require privacy. Leave. Now!" The alien grabs the pillow and says, "Wow, nice day to you, too. Dick," before exiting.

In late the fall of 2419, Alara Kitan as acting captain orders him to open the doors to retrieve a Calivon buoy and the shuttlecraft ECV-197-1. Unfortunately, the buoy was a trap and explodes. The Officer shouts, "Get those doors shut!" He was unhurt in the explosion, and afterward helped Chief Engineer Steve Newton repair damage to the ship.
