Cassius teaches a class on the Battle of Tarazed.
A classroom was present within the USS Orville, as well as in other ships of the Union Fleet[n 1] and Krill destroyers,[1] serving as a school for the children of crew members.
Generally, Union Fleet-based schools did not accept children under the age of three. However, an exception was made for Moclans such as Topa who, at only eight months old, had mentally developed to the level of a seven-year-old human.[2]

The Orville classroom is one of several new sets, alongside the armory and additional hallways, that were constructed for Season 2 as revealed by production designer Stephen J. Lineweaver and art director Robert Strohmaier.[3] Architectural blueprints were probably created by Eugene Adamov, who drafted blueprints for the ship's set in Season 2.
