Floratta Borrin was the Xelayan mother of Galdus Harona and the wife of Cambis Borrin. After the untimely death of their child, Cambis and Floratta unsuccessfully conspired to ruin the reputation of, and ultimately kill, Ildis Kitan. Their plan resulted in the murder of Serris.
Floratta died in September 2420 during her and Cambis' attack on the Kitan family.
Life[]
Floratta married Cambis Borrin at an unknown date and, in late 2390, she gave birth to Galdus Harona, their son and only child.[1]
Galdus went on to become a prodigious professor at Xenara Medical School at age 21, but his reputation was marred by a deeply flawed paper linking Torin's syndrome to the Mellara vaccine. Galdus fell into a depression and took his own life several years later in 2419.
Conspiracy, murder of Serris, and death[]
Floratta and Cambis blamed Ildis Kitan, a professor, for the death of Galdus. While not clear, Ildis seems to have made statements discrediting Galdus' work. They decide to force Ildis to admit he lied about Galdus' work before killing him.
The two stalk the Kitan family to their beach home. To ensure that the island is void of possible witnesses, they murder the island's caretaker Serris and hide the body. They then pose as owners of a nearby home to the Kitan family and imply that Serris had broken into their home, and later hold the Kitan family hostage with PM-32s. However, Ildis' daughter Alara Kitan is able to fight and kill both Floratta and Cambis.
