The Kakov was a Krill battle cruiser. ==History== The Kakov was constructed by the Krill to help with their pursuits in pillaging planets and species the Anhkana deemed inferior to them. ===Krill=== The Kakov attacked the Planetary Union mining colony on Kastra IV. When the USS Orville responded to the colony's distress call, the Kakov turned its attention to the Orville instead. As the Orville could not beat the Kakov in a direct assault, Captain Ed Mercer ordered the Orville to skim the edge of Kastra's atmosphere, kicking up a smoke screen to blind the pursuing Kakov 's sensors and preventing them obtaining a weapons lock. The Orville then shot upward and fired a spread of torpedoes, destroying the Kakov with all hands aboard.
