Kit Stølen (also Kit Stolen) is an assistant art director and a former set designer on The Orville.
Stølen is a recurring secret guest on the show. His name appears in Old Wounds as a member of the USS Orville, and in the episode The Road Not Taken, Stølen gives an uncredited performance as a Resistance soldier fighting the Kaylon.
Background[]
Stølen first worked as a set designer on Megalodon before he even matriculated from college. He received a bachelors in theater design in 2003 from Rutgers University, and a Master of Fine Arts in design from the California Institute of the Arts in 2009.[1]
The Orville[]
Stølen worked on the pilot episode of The Orville as an assistant art director under the production designer, Stephen J. Lineweaver, and transitioning to set designer for the rest of Season 1.[1] In Season 2, Stølen returned to his old post of assistant art director.[2] He worked with Lineweaver and Brandon Fayette to create the Bridge of the Krill destroyer Yakar.[3]
