Krill was a planet and the home world of the species of the same name.

Description

The planet Krill was distinct from other habitable worlds in that it was permanently shrouded by a dense cloud cover that obscured 96 percent of the sunlight from the planet's surface. As a result, the Krill species had evolved to have pale skin, dark eyes, and severe sensitivity to light.

Krill is implied to be fairly near Earth and Planetary Union space. The planet was one parsec from the Alibar system in Union space. When the Kaylon traveled to Earth for the Battle of Earth, First Officer Kelly Grayson stated that Krill space was closer to Earth than Moclus.

The entire planet was enveloped by layers of cirrostratus and cumulonimbus clouds. The average surface temperature was five degrees Celsius above freezing. The planet's capital city was Dalakos.

Dalakos is the capital city of Krill and the main location of the episode Gently Falling Rain.

Grand Marketplace

The gleaming jewel of Dalakos is the Grand Marketplace, in where Krill merchants from all over the planet gather to sell their wares.

Anaya's Hideout

Anaya's hideout is a place hidden in the marketplace where Anaya is kept away from the public by her primary caretaker and other Krill. It was here where Ed found out that his relationship with "Janel Tyler" resulted in a hybrid child.

• Creator Seth MacFarlane once quipped about Krill, "Their home planet has a dense layer of cloud cover that shielded them from sun, so [the Krill are] not accustomed to it. They’re like the space-UK."
• Around December 2419, a class of Krill children retrieved from the Krill destroyer Yakar by the USS Orville were arranged to be returned to their families on Krill by the Planetary Union.
• In July 2421, the Krill launched an attack force against the Alibar, believing a massive "Construct" was a weapon to be used to destroy Krill.
