Talking The Orville, formerly known as Egotastic FunTime, is an American YouTube channel and personality run by Justin Poole. It offers in-depth news, interviews, gossip, and fan coverage of The Orville. The channel was re-launched as EgotasticFT in early 2023 when the original Talking The Orville channel was de-monetized by YouTube due to alleged copyright violations.
Talking The Orville has been responsible for breaking many news stories about The Orville before larger dedicated news networks catch wind of the information. In the past, it has publicized several major leaks during the production of Season 2. During that period, Justin Poole was one of the most polarizing figures in The Orville's news and fan communities.
Talking The Orville originally began as Egotastic FunTime, which covered a variety of content in addition to a series known as 'Talking The Orville'. The channel officially re-branded as Talking The Orville between Season 2 and Season 3 of The Orville.
Poole acted in, and narrated, the 2020 fan film A Planetary Step.

Poole is perhaps best known for advance coverage of actress Halston Sage's departure from The Orville, which he reported as early as January 28, 2018, a year before Sage's exit was confirmed.[2]
