The Orville Radio Hour is a comedy radio show by Phoenix Development that parodies The Orville. It presents new adventures of Ed Mercer and Kelly Grayson as they travel space, meet new aliens, and solve mysteries.
The Orville Radio Hour re-frames the show as a science-fiction detective drama from 1938. Typical of detective noir of the time, the show has a recurring narrator, Jack Danger, who guides the listener through the episode.

The Orville Radio Hour premiered its first season, titled Low-Key Tales frpm the Year 2420, with four short radio episodes.
Episode 1[]
Ed and Kelly board a Planetary Union space station in preparation for a meeting with the ambassador of the Zygoxians, a species famous for its infatuation with musical theater from 20th century Earth. They meet Beepbop, assistant to the ambassador, who explains that meeting will not happen because the ambassador's beautiful dysonium uniform has gone missing.
The show's host, Jack Danger, advertises controversial asbestos-filled cigarettes.

The Orville Radio Hour - Episode 3
Beepbop takes Ed and Kelly to his quarters to look for the uniform. Coming up empty-handed, Ed begins to suspect someone has stolen the suit.
Meanwhile, Jack Danger advertises a toxic chemical paste as a novel hair-remover for ladies.

The Orville Radio Hour - Episode 4
Ed, Kelly, and Beepbop visit Lieutenant Oggles, the Union officer in charge of all luggage inspections on the space station.
Jack takes the show into the green room to interview members of the cast, but things go awry when the actors have other plans.

Ed and Kelly gather Beepbop and the ambassador, but has Ed finally cracked the case?
Jack advertises frontal lobotomies for families.
